The Great Waddle of Worcester 2024
Worcestershire Ambassadors partner with St Richard’s Hospice.
Worcestershire Ambassadors are proud have partnered with St Richard’s Hospice once again for their city-wide art trail.
Summer 2024 will see Worcester transformed into a free, fun art space as a waddle of wonderfully designed penguins slide into residents’ and visitors’ hearts and camera rolls.
Just like their giraffe and ele-friends before them, the St Richard’s Hospice huddle is on a mission to unite the city and create lasting memories along the way.
A Wild in Art trail, fort big, brrr-illiant yellow-eyed penguins will go on display for eight weeks alongside forty chicks designed by local schools and community groups.
The penguins will waddle in on Monday 22nd July 2024 before leaving on Sunday 15th September 2024. After this, there will be the chance to say a final ‘goodbye’ at the Farewell Events, before each penguin is auctioned to raise funds for St Richard’s Hospice and each chick returns to its forever home with schools and community groups.
